I meet quite a few people who say they don’t have time for an allotment – of course it’s easier once you have a plot in good order, but there’s still a lot you can do in a lunch-break or just one hour. Here’s today’s completed tasks:
Watered the spinach, which really needed it!
And the French tarragon, which is resprouting nicely
And the alpine strawberry seedlings – which are growing beautifully
Hand-weeded the currant bushes (didn’t take a photo because it’s the most deadly boring thing to look at) and …
And harvested three rather tired leeks and two kinds of kale for dinner!
